STANDARD FLU VACCINE
The 2026 Standard Flu Vaccine is called INFLUVAC. This vaccine is FUNDED and FREE for those patients that meet the eligibility criteria. For patients, who are not eligible for a funded vaccine, the cost is $38.00.
Enrolled patients can book their flu vaccine with our Practice Nurse.
Non-enrolled patients, aged 9yrs and over, can attend our Urgent Care service for their flu vaccine.
ADVANCED FLU VACCINE
There are two advanced flu vaccines available:
- The 2026 Advanced Flu Vaccine, for patients aged between 6 months and 49 years, is called FLUCELVAX Quad* This is a non-funded vaccine, and the cost is $45.00.
- The 2026 Advanced flu vaccine, for patients aged 50 years and over, is called FLUAD Quad** This is a non-funded vaccine, and the cost is $50.00.
* WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE FLUCELVAX QUAD?
- Designed to be an exact match to the flu strains that are circulating this year.
- Shown to be up to 19% more effective than standard influenza vaccines at protecting you from the flu.
- Established safety profile with more than 200 million doses distributed worldwide.
** WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE FLUAD QUAD?
- Lower risk of medical encounters due to influenza-related outcomes, including hospitalisations and GP Visits.
- Longer protection – Antibody levels are higher at 12 months post vaccination.
- Established safety profile with more than 270 million doses distributed worldwide.

Please note:
- The Shingrix vaccine can be administered at the same time as the Flu vaccine. However, the Shingrix vaccine is only funded for those patients aged 65 years only. The fee for a non-funded Shingrix vaccine remains $420.00 for each dose and 2 doses are required.
- OneHealth does not provide COVID vaccinations. However, these can be obtained by the on-site Clinic Pharmacy.
